"Dr. Victoria Perez is friendly and knowledgeable she is more than a optometrist she is certified by the Texas State Board of Optometry as a Therapeutic Optometrist as well as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. I would recommend her to anyone especially seniors."
"Great service, knowledgeable and helpful to finding the best glasses to meet your needs. We were in for about 2 hours today looking at glasses. The selection was great and many brands of various prices were available. In addition many options of color, sizing and preferences were able to be swapped out. I just bought my kids glasses but won’t ever return to target optical as I loved our experience and the helpful staff. I highly recommend if you need glasses and like variety, friendly staff and good deals. We had great customer service with Mr. Valadez, Thank you!"

"My wife and I have been to many eye doctors in our lives and by far this is the best one we have ever been to! Dr Victoria Perez and her staff are always kind, caring and tells it straight. She truly cares about her patients and remembers details. Sometimes walking in, it just feels like family. The office is clean and always decorated for the seasonal holidays. I will trust her and her staff with my families optometrist needs and no others for as long they are in business and available. I don’t want to highly recommend them because then everyone will go there and we won’t be able to get an appointment so just know that they are the best!"
"I’ve been going here for a few years and the newest doctor/owner Victoria Perez is tops, and of course all of her staff is amazing too! I’m so pleased that whenever I’ve had to come besides a regular visit they are always make the time and address my questions and concerns. While it may have a chain name it’s definitely top notch service for your eyes!"
"All the staff here are very professional and polite. We’ve visited this location 3 times in the past year for my daughter and husband. Dr. Perez is super thorough and communicates so well with children. My 8 year old daughter enjoys her eye appointments after being in Dr. Perez’s care (which has never been the case). Check-in and wait time was fast, and we were in and out quickly. Would highly recommend visiting this office."
"Today was my first time going into TSO. I was very nervous because I was taking my 4 year old daughter who I do not want to need glasses. Well the receptionist ladies were very friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. They worked very well with my daughter and they were very patient with her. When Dr. Perez came in she was very calm and sweet with my daughter. She has sense of peacefulness that she gives off. My daughter was very obedient to what the Doctor was asking of her. Over al this was a great experience. I will be coming back for yearly vision exams."
"I went to this location for my annual contact lens exam. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful! Dr. Perez was prompt, did not seem rushed and genuinely cared. She took time to answer all my questions. I ordered a year’s worth of contacts and got a $200 rebate from the manufacturer. Plus since I ordered my contacts that day the office let me pick out a free pair of sunglasses (worth $140!). Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this eye doctor office."
"I know this particular location had some issues in the past, but with the recent changes it is well worth the drive from Live Oak/Converse! I have been a patient of Dr. Perez’s for the last three years and when she moved to this office I had to follow. She is so thorough and is more like a friend to me than one of my doctors. She is so loved that quite a few members of the staff left Vision Source and followed her too. I know it will take some time to fully revamp the place, but I think Dr. Perez is the perfect person to do it!!"
"This eye exam is the best I have known. Thank you Dr Flower! Everything was explained to me clearly and I was treated with respect from the front reception all the way through to the doctor. Very personable and pleasant. All my questions answered leaving me with knowledge about my eyes. Just a great experience all around...this is not what I can say about previous eye exams I have had elsewhere. Thank you!"

"I can’t say enough great things about Bandera TSO and Dr. Fortenberry. Everything from the minute I walked in the door was great. Very welcoming staff, beautiful office. The equipment is all new and top notch. Dr. Fortenberry is absolutely great. She is so sweet and kind and has a great pleasant disposition. She spent a ton of time with me and made sure everything was okay. Jake helped me out in getting some lenses and he was awesome too. He really knew his stuff about optics! I can’t possible recommend this practice enough. The entire experience was awesome. Five stars!!!!!"

"I went here for an eye exam and contacts. The staff was friendly and overall great to work with. I would definitely recommend them if you are in search of an eye doctor. For the military family, they do accept tricare."
"I took my 8, 7, and 5 year old here for their annual exams and had a great experience. We were able to get scheduled within a matter of days of our initial phone call. And I can not say enough how much I love the doctor here! She was patient with my children and was able to get all three of them to allow her to dilate their eyes which in itself is a very large task. My children all came out of the exam room smiling which was amazing seeing how their exams last year at a different doctors office one left literally kicking and screaming. I would definitely recommend this doctor especially if you have children. She posses the knowledge needed to adequately maintain the health of your eyes but the compassion needed to work with small children."
"I had an appt here this week and had a wonderful experience. I had to take my 3 month old daughter with me. When she started to cry, Jake came in and calmed her (and me) while my exam was concluded. The staff is very accommodating and knowledgeable. I’m glad I found Dr. Fortenberry and staff at Texas State Optical Bandera to fulfill my vision needs."
