"This is place is awesome! The staff is kind and helpful. They explain everything from insurance related questions to purchasing frames or contacts. Exams are also well explained. Don't want to get your eyes dilated there's an option for imaging instead. Won't have to suffer the after effects of dilation. Dr. Perez is great. She explains all aspects of the exams that were completed, answers all your questions and does her best to make you understand everything before completing your appointment. Will definitely keep coming here and highly recommend everyone else to as well."

The selection was great and many brands of various prices were available. In addition many options of color, sizing and preferences were able to be swapped out. I just bought my kids glasses but won’t ever return to target optical as I loved our experience and the helpful staff. When I arrived I was given paperwork and taken back with no wait , and the technician was very calming and sweet. I was brought to the optical side for checkout and although I wasn’t purchasing glasses the optician (Sonia) was patient and answered all my questions . 10/10 experience here! "My first contact with TSO Bandera was just a glimpse into how the patient experience would be. When I called to make my daughter’s appointment, the receptionist ensured they accept our vision insurance and even looked up the authorization to give me my estimated copay. On appointment day, the receptionist, technician, and Dr. Perez were all friendly, approachable and prompt. There was little to no wait. Ruben checked us out and adjusted my daughter’s glasses. He was very friendly as well. I felt Zero pressure to purchase anything. No surprises with the copay…it was the same as the quote I was given on the phone. They also provide Optomap instead of the dreaded eye dilation which is a huge plus. Great experience from start to finish! Time to schedule MY next eye exam…"

Everyone we interacted with were friendly and helpful. I can't recall the woman's name who helped us, possibly Sofia, but she was great and made my daughter feel at ease and comfortable. She also let us know about some discount options available. They said the glasses would be ready before closing time but were ready in less than an hour. Highly recommend this place!"

They saw me for initial consultation, noted some discrepancies for extreme eye dryness and inflammation, however wanted to push me through the process and collect $1k deposit. This lead me to Dr. Perez to get a second opinion. I did some research on her and discovered she went to one of the top optometry programs in the nation (U of H). We took the time to truly examine my eyes and get to the root of my problem. She treated my eyes for severe dry eye disease and saved me from potentially damaging them more if I were to proceed with laser eye surgery too soon, and prior to treating the existing damage to my eye. I’m now a life long customer and have switched my family eye care to her practice."

"Today was my first time going into TSO. I was very nervous because I was taking my 4 year old daughter who I do not want to need glasses. Well the receptionist ladies were very friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. They worked very well with my daughter and they were very patient with her. "There is such a difference in getting eyewear from professionals! My new frames fit wonderfully and everyone has extensive knowledge on corrective lenses and eye health. Dr. Jerry is great and took extra time to explain different eye conditions and what to look out for. It's also worth the $40 to use their new camera which avoids getting dilated. I used to go to Costco or Walmart or DIY by ordering online and it was a waste of money, since I would buy frames and never wear them since the fit was off. Definitely recommend!"

"I took my 8, 7, and 5 year old here for their annual exams and had a great experience. We were able to get scheduled within a matter of days of our initial phone call. And I can not say enough how much I love the doctor here! She was patient with my children and was able to get all three of them to allow her to dilate their eyes which in itself is a very large task. My children all came out of the exam room smiling which was amazing seeing how their exams last year at a different doctors office one left literally kicking and screaming. I would definitely recommend this doctor especially if you have children. She posses the knowledge needed to adequately maintain the health of your eyes but the compassion needed to work with small children."
